How do i clean all diseases that could be inside my aquarium rock?

Hi i posted a question saying i could find my fish
well i found it deep inside one of my rocks which has lots of holes and so
well i just got my fish out which had all his organs out and i asume more of its organs are still in the rock how do i fully clean the rock so that i can add it back to my aquarium
DO YOU PUT IT IN THE WATER WHILE IT IS BOILING OR ONCE IT HAS BOILED

Since I only have experience with freshwater fish and ornaments, I put mine in boiling water for about 15 minutes.

If this is salt water related, I have no idea other than to contact an aquarium store that deals with salt water products.

Editing:
I boil the water first, turn down the temp to the burner, then drop in the ornament.
Make sure you flip it around every 2 or 3 minutes so it doesn’t start to melt into the pan.

NEVER EVER USE BLEACH OR ANY SOAP PRODUCTS to clean your tank, filters, ornaments, etc.
That’s an instant death sentence to your fish.
