Can you use a mogul base light bulb in a standard lamp?? Do they make some kind of converter??
Most lamps are just simply made up of components that are held together on a threaded rod with nuts. The top electrical piece is also threaded on to the lamp.
The top piece can be changed. If you have a piece sized for a mogul lamp you can certainly mount it on just about any lamp. The link below shows two of that sort of piece for sale, unfortunely both had already sold.
I suspect you can probably find them in lamp parts on ebay also, and a wholesaler like Kirk’s Lane likely has new “reproductions.”
