How can I remove rust deposits from clear pump tubing?

I have a cast iron water fountain with rust deposits in the clear pump tubing. Tubing is odd size and difficult to replace. Any ideas to dissolve and remove the rust? Is CLR too strong for this?

Run bleach (industrial strength)thru it and then flush water, that should do it.
