Whats a bushy plant that fish would like to sleep in?

I would like to replace my rotala indica…it requires more light that I can put in my five gallon (which is 2 watts per gallon, go figure) what are some other tall plants that a fish would like to sleep in…..since all my fish sleep in the one plant, I would hate to take away thier bed, ha ha….

Any suggestions?

You’ve got a wide choice here, however the tank would look more natural with a mix of foreground, middle and back plants.

Foreground: Java moss. Doesn’t require very much light, and it can create a carpet of plants on your gravel.
Moss balls, adds a touch of interest to the tank.

Middle to back: Java ferns, Thai Stricta, Water Wisteria, Canadian water pest (Egeria densa) and Vallisneria.

I’ve owned all these plants at one time or another. They’re all very easy to look after, and don’t need that much attention.
You would have to trim them occasionally, and perhaps add fertilizer once a month, but other than that they should do fine in your tank.
