pellet food?

pellet food what is it?? and why is it better for budgies than seed, also where can you buy it from?

Vets push Pellets because they sell it and make money! There is research now out the shows an all pellet diet causes liver issues and the bird dies. If you want to use them it is ok but not as the only thing you feed them. Pellets where made because people don’t feed birds fresh foods. I give seed, thawed frozen veggies and some fruit. Not to much fruit as it has alot of sugar. Bird breads are good to.
