The elimination of planktonic algae from my pond and waterfall?

I have a new pond and waterfall without fish. I think that is about 300 gallons. I do not expect to always fish in it. I am in south Florida, with much direct sunlight all day and some nearby plants. Because it's so hot here and the waterfall is running, I have to add water to the pond from all other days. I also planktonic algae green water that turned nasty. I tried Clorox everything and skimming Fountec with daily brushing. Nothing kills the algae or my water returns to its original clarity. I have read in the straw of barley, Microbe Lift, and many other products, but I'm totally confused. Any help is appreciated!
