Marine Aquarium?
I wondered, how much more expensive is a marine aquarium (without tank) of fresh water? How do you get water, I buy it? What other things, such as the filter and heater —
Well, if you already have the filter, the water heater tank with a hood and light that has half of which is necessary to keep fish only sailors. You may want to add a Protien skimmer but that is all the additional equipment necessary unless you plan keep corals and other more demanding species. Then definitely be up filtration'd Protien skimmer and add the motor current. It would also be requires more intense lighting. The only thing that should be added to the tank for the fish that live rock and live sand. Since I know his other positions that have 55 gallons it takes 55 pounds of live rock and live sand enough to cover 1-2 inches from the bottom. Beyond that you need to get some salt mixture befor seawater, adding to the tank when you do your water changes and a hydrometer is a device that will indicate the specific gravity of water (salt content). You will need a test kit saltwater nitrite and ammonia pH nitrates.Thats everything. Not much more to keep fish only with live rock saltwater tank that is being freshwater tank. The only mixxing The main difference is that nefor diced salt addding back in the tank for water changes. The nitrogen cycle is the same whether could put the same things as if it were fresh water. So, to keep only fish that are more than half with the settings you already have. Many people will tell you otherwise, but trust me Thats a fish only what you need. I recommend adding a Protien skimmer, but it is not necessary for a tank of fish. If you plan to keep corals, anemones that's another story. much more intensive system of a fish tank.
