What Should I feed my Koi??

I used to have 3 koi fish. One was orange, metallic, and white with a red spot on its head. I started feeding them Tetra Pond Koi Vibrance pellets that enhance their colors (when they were about 3.5 inches each). About a month later, the metallic and the white koi died on the same day. Now the only koi fish i have is my orange one, but now it had white mixed into it.

Should i get smaller food that sinks? or should i stick with the tetra pond sticks that float. I really do not want my fish to die again.
Oh and i have a 20 gallon tank.
should i get another koi? or do i not have enough room?
How often and how much should i feed it? and the “as much as it can eat in 5 minutes” isnt very helpful because somedays they dont notice the food at first or eat it very quickly

you should stick with the same food, but a 20 gallon tank is way to small, so you shouldn’t have any more than 2
