What you feed your mouse or hamster or guinea pig?

Other then regular hamster gerbil / feed mouse, which I like the food? We scrambled eggs with oatmeal in it and they love their other favorites are lettuce, carrots, celery and rice. The mouse likes scrambled eggs too! never tried brown rice. And my mouse hates lettuce for some reason. It could be because it's big! You must hold my mice and gerbils love (if only for rats) 1 cup flour 3 / 4 cup citrus cornmeal 2 / 3 cup mixed dried fruit (not orange or other – See below for explanation), cut into small pieces 1 cup teaspoon vegetable oil 1 / 2 cup apple juice (or other non-citrus) Mix Juice all ingredients. Shaping the mixture into small inch (1 / 2) balls. Place the balls on a greased baking tray. Bake at 250 F (120 C) for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, turn off the oven and cool completely treat the balls. They must be clear and crisp once cool. Store them in a bag or a sealed container in a cool, dry place. Warning rats (citrus and men): It seems that this might be a good idea to avoid citrus orange or other relationship with the rats male. A compound in citrus fruits, especially the skin, can react with a compound in the urine of male rats, and has been linked to cancer in male rats (MRAC see site for details). As with other studies, a large dose of the substance in the orange is necessary to this effect, so do not worry if you give your rats oranges – I think it's just one of those things that deserves a little caution in the future. These sweet moderation also be adapted to other small rodents such as hamsters, gerbils and mice.
