Their ears are large, hairless and thin and are commonly in motion. Sugar glide ears are so sensitive; they can hear even the smallest sounds.
Also, sugar glider have different unique scent, they uses this scent to recognize others. Male’s scent glands can be found on their head that appears like a diamond spot while on the females, the scent glands can be found near their pouch.
