Ok, so I have a record in a bird cage No more birds and broke a piece (the wood is very old and very hard in the middle is always red) and cleaned up very hard and have put in a bucket of water to soak and wondered If this timber is currently working on an aquarium, I also boil for one hour tomorrow sock then again around 2-3 weeks until they do my water change and have a shark fin red im going to put in a small tank with wood for at least 2 weeks. Is this a good idea. Do you have a better way to cure the wood? plzzzzz answer
