Danner Mag Mag 5 or 7 of the return pump?

Hi, I'm creating a new reef tank and can not decide which pump to buy. I a daughter of 29 for display and 20 gallon (long) to the crankcase. I drilled the tank and a sump with 3 / bulk head 4''ID. Want to put in a MAG 7, which produces 450 GPH @ 4ft. but I do not know if my 3 / 4 "ID hose could manage this much back in the sink to overflow. Moreover, the mag 5 Article 310 GPH @ 4ft. probably work, I wonder if anyone has any suggestions. I would go with a magazine of 5 on the safe side. Overflow always match the pump unless the pump can flow more floodwater can handle. In this case, as the overflow water tank is too pumped into the tank. The sink does not overflow, even if the pump is only nominal. The overflow will somehow adapt to the pump.
