Is there a differance in the construction of a terrarium and an aquarium?

I.E. Is the glass thicker on an aquarium? Does a terrarium hold in more heat? That kind of thing. NOT, one has water and the other dirt.

Yes there is a slight difference in the construction. Aquariums tend to have thicker glass and large ones usually have supports on the top (in the middle) to hold the weight of water better. Aquariums are also sealed more carefully so they won’t leak, which isn’t quite as important in reptile tanks. As far as small tanks there is probably very little or no difference though. I’ve kept reptiles in aquariums as well as terrariums and they do fine in both. The only issue would be converting a terrarium to an aquarium, which probably wouldn’t work as well.
