Aquarium light?

i bought this aquarium light and i wanna know if this light is fluorescent and if it can grow plants really well (not aquarium plants)

it is an incendescent light bulb 25w…unless if u have a 5 gal tank then no…on average if u want a decent plant tank, you will need atleast 3 watts per gal.

flourescent are ok…but compact flourescents are going to be ur best bet! plenty of strong light and there wont’ be a single plant u can’t really grow

if u have to go for lower lighting say 1.5 to 1 watts per gal u can do things such as anubius species hygro (illegal in the u.s) and maybe anacrus or hornwort (both ugly plants imo) lol
