Aquarium Cleaning?

I was given a used 20 gallon aquarium that is very heavy with lime scale (water scale)……What would be the best way to clean the scale off before I fill it up and put it to use??

Scrape it off with a razor blade. Of course, be careful not to cut yourself.

Do NOT use chemicals, steel wool or any thing of that sort. Chemicals will leave residue that can be nearly impossible to rinse, and steel wool will scratch the tank.
