Can you leave a cleaner magnetic permantently algae in the tank and use when needed?

I have a megnetic algae cleaner. Want to whether it is OK to just leave the tank and use it when necessary (of course, cleaning each month), or if it was something detrimental to the fish tank. Besides, if anyone has tips on the use that could use those too because I did it never did. Thank you.

Yes, you can leave them in the tank. They are sealed in a waterproof case to water so as not to cause problems with water chemistry. I think when I went in the tank, cleaning of face wear out much faster, but if I am correct when did.
