Man has always had a fascination for flying, always find ways to make the sky and travel to remote places. This fascination, a dream not die; generation after generation, is what ultimately led to the emergence of airplanes.
Today's aircraft are primarily responsible for leading us to any point in the world. The planes have become the major carriers. Not only the aircraft that we can visit a friend or loved one in another continent, has also led expeditions – From small to large objects.
The idea to use an airplane to transport shipments took seed in 1910. According to the history of aviation, the transfer of the stolen silk Dayton to Columbus, Ohio. This shipment is considered the first demonstration of air cargo.
Nine years later, another aircraft carrier has become. The burden: an attack against the conversos that weighed a thousand pounds. Posted by Express U.S. railroads, the attacker was developed by the Air Chicago, Washington, DC The trip was not without problems, however. A frozen radiator forced the pilot to land the plane in Ohio.
The 1920s saw several companies operating carriers such as cargo carriers, catering for the U.S.. The arrival of air freight has allowed companies to transport goods faster and shorten the time needed to complete transactions.
Between 1927 and 1931 the number and size of air freight cargo has reached almost a million pounds, up to 45,000 pounds. Commercial Air Cargo began operations after World War II, although there are efforts to organize the activities of air cargo before it.
American, United, TWA and Eastern Europe – the first four known airlines – formed Air Cargo, Inc., operating as a company air cargo by the end of the war. However, United and TWA decided to run his own air cargo business in 1944.
The air cargo industry is no profit, which is why many owners of small planes that tried to enter the business but failed. Big business fears of small companies that will hurt the airline industry's current situation, do not leave smaller airlines in the air cargo business. Furthermore, key Airlines do not want more competition. While many small farmers have tried and failed, the "Flying Tigers" has survived. Known as the industry's largest cargo airline line for as long as the Flying Tigers achieved military and civilian cargo.
Of air cargo activity may have had a good start, but will not begin to develop that of a man named Fred Smith started an air freight company that became recognizable around the world – Federal Express, or simply from FedEx.
One of the FedEx air cargo carriers with a high degree of success. FedEx uses modern technology (eg software for air freight) in response to the needs of its customers. The air transport company uses the latest software in the industry freight, may solve some problems in the system and provide customers with services that are profitable.
FedEx and UPS another cargo carrier, are considered as two airlines more reliable load today in the United States.
